His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, attended on Sunday a ceremony marking the 42nd anniversary of the Battle of Karameh.

During the event, King Abdullah laid wreaths of flowers on the Karameh memorial and toured an exhibition of photographs from the battle.

The King also met with families of martyrs and those injured in the battle and checked on their conditions.

His Royal Highness Prince Feisal and Prime Minister Samir Rifai, along with a number of senior officials and officers were present at the ceremony.
