His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday departed on an official visit to Egypt.

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah is accompanying King Abdullah on the visit to Cairo.

On Tuesday, His Majesty is slated to hold a trilateral summit in Cairo with Egypt President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

The King is also scheduled to head from Cairo to the United Arab Emirates on a working visit.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II was sworn in as Regent, in the presence of Cabinet members.
