His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday met with Iraq’s Defence Minister Sadoun Dulaimi, who is visiting to take part in the Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference (SOFEX) 2012.

The King and the Iraqi minister discussed ways and means of cementing Jordanian-Iraqi ties in various fields, in addition to regional developments and other issues of common interest.

Dulaimi conveyed to the King the good wishes of Iraqi President Jalal Talabani and Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, expressing Baghdad's keenness on maintaining cooperation and coordination with Jordan on various regional issues.
