His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday received a letter from General Intelligence Department (GID) Director Maj. Gen. Ahmad Husni, in reply to a letter from His Majesty.

In the letter, GID Director Husni expressed his appreciation for the trust granted by King Abdullah in appointing him, expressing the GID’s commitment to His Majesty’s directives.

He affirmed that the GID will continue to safeguard the homeland’s achievements and to counter all threats and challenges.

In his reply, Husni said the King’s letter will be a roadmap and an action plan for the GID, stressing the importance of maintaining professionalism and safeguarding the rights and dignity of citizens.
