A Royal Decree was issued Tuesday approving a reshuffle of Prime Minister Omar Razzaz’s Cabinet.

The Royal Decree approved the appointment of the following:

1. Walid Maani as Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research

2. Walid Masri as Minister of Municipal Affairs

3. Majd Shweikeh as Minister of Tourism and Antiquities

4. Anmar Khasawneh as Minister of Transport

The ministers were sworn in before His Majesty King Abdullah at Al Husseiniya Palace.

Prime Minister Razzaz, Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi, and Adviser to His Majesty and Director of the Office of His Majesty Manar Dabbas attended the swearing-in.

A Royal Decree had also been issued, accepting the resignation of the following, as of 22 January 2019:

1. Walid Masri as Minister of Transport and Minister of Municipal Affairs

2. Majd Shweikeh as Minister of State for Institutional Performance Development
