His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday sent a cable to Chinese President Xi Jinping, congratulating him on his re-election as general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

In the cable, King Abdullah voiced Jordan’s commitment to continuing to solidify its strategic partnership with the People’s Republic of China, in line with the two countries’ common interests and with the aim of bolstering security and stability in the region and the world.

His Majesty also expressed his well wishes to President Xi, and wished the people of China continued progress and prosperity.
