His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday sent a cable to German Chancellor Angela Merkel, congratulating her on her re-election for a fourth term.

In the cable, King Abdullah reaffirmed Jordan’s keenness to advance its strategic partnership with Germany in various fields, and to work with Berlin towards global peace.

His Majesty wished the chancellor success, and the people of Germany further progress and prosperity.
