His Majesty King Abdullah, accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, departed for New York on Friday, on a working visit during which His Majesty will head Jordan’s delegation at the 72nd Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations.

King Abdullah is scheduled to meet with a number of heads of state and delegations on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meetings.

Deputising for His Majesty, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II will deliver Jordan’s address at the UN General Assembly.

His Royal Highness Prince Ali bin Al Hussein was sworn in as Regent in the presence of Cabinet members.
