His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday joined worshippers in performing isha (evening) and the special Ramadan taraweeh prayers at Al Hashemiya Mosque.

After the prayers, King Abdullah read verses from the Holy Quran in memory of Her Majesty the late Queen Alia Al Hussein.

Renovation of Al Hashemiya Mosque, which houses Queen Alia’s tomb, recently concluded, funded by Their Royal Highness Prince Ali bin Al Hussein and Princess Haya bint Al Hussein.
