His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday met with Commander of the US Special Operations Command General Raymond Thomas to review Jordanian-US cooperation, with a focus on military ties.

Talks at the meeting, held at Al Husseiniya Palace and attended by His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussien, focused on conditions in the Middle East, as well as the ongoing war against terrorism.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Major General Mahmoud Freihat and members of the accompanying delegation also attended the meeting.
