Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte is due to arrive in Jordan on 5 September for an official visit, during which His Majesty King Abdullah and President Duterte are scheduled to hold talks on bilateral cooperation and issues of mutual concern.

On his visit, taking place over several days, President Duterte will be accompanied by senior officials, and a business delegation to discuss investment and trade opportunities with Jordanian business leaders.
