His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, visited the General Command of JAF on Saturday.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat and several senior officers received King Abdullah upon his arrival.

His Majesty met with Freihat and discussed a number of issues concerning the armed forces.

The army chief also briefed the King on the outcomes of his visit to the US last week and the discussions he held with senior officers at the US Department of Defence to boost military cooperation.

During the visit, His Majesty was also acquainted with the readiness of JAF units and formations, expressing his pride and confidence in their personnel and their advanced training, and praising the army’s role in serving the nation’s causes.
