ِAmman -- His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday received a telephone call from Saudi Deputy Crown Prince and Minister of Defence Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The latest regional developments, especially in Syria, as well as Jordanian-Saudi relations were discussed.

The contact was made as Syrian opposition representatives were in Geneva Monday, where they met formally for the first time with UN special envoy Staffan de Mistura.
