His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday received Saudi Minister of State Essam bin Saad bin Saeed, who delivered a letter from King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia.

The letter included an invitation to King Abdullah to attend the Arab-Islamic-US summit that Saudi Arabia will host.

During the meeting, His Majesty voiced his pride in the strong, deep-rooted and brotherly ties between Jordan and Saudi Arabia, and the two countries' keenness to bolster them in various fields in the best interest of their peoples and in the service of the Arab and Muslim nations.

The King urged the minister to convey his greetings to the Saudi monarch and his wishes of further progress and prosperity for the people of Saudi Arabia.

Director of the Office of His Majesty Jafar Hassan, and His Majesty’s Personal Envoy to Saudi Arabia Basem Awadallah also attended the meeting.
