King receives delegation of CEOs, chairs of leading Chinese companies

His Majesty King Abdullah received on Tuesday at Al Husseiniya Palace a delegation of chairpersons and CEOs of leading international companies from China, working in the ICT, investment, financial services, and e-commerce sectors.

Discussions covered Jordan’s investment-friendly climate and the Kingdom’s strategic location, as well as its qualified human resources and its multiple free trade agreements which position it as a gateway into regional and global markets.

The meeting also touched on the potential of capitalising on opportunities in vital sectors in Jordan, especially the ICT sector, which has reached an exceptional level in the region due to young Jordanian talents and an attractive investment environment.

In addition, talks addressed the importance of Jordan’s tourism sector and opportunities to attract Chinese tourists to the Kingdom.

Adviser to His Majesty and Director of the Office of His Majesty Manar Dabbas, ICT Minister and Public Sector Development Minister Majd Shweikeh, and Minister of State for Investment Affairs Muhannad Shehadeh attended the meeting.
