His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday received Commander of the US Central Command General Joseph L. Votel and his accompanying delegation, at Al Husseiniya Palace.

The meeting covered Jordanian-US ties, especially in the military field, as well as developments in the region.

Discussions also addressed regional and international efforts in the fight against terrorism within a holistic approach.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat, and Adviser to His Majesty and Director of the Office of His Majesty Manar Dabbas attended the meeting.
