King receives call from Oman sultan

His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday received a phone call from Oman Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, and exchanged Eid Al Adha wishes.
 
Discussions covered means of bolstering bilateral relations across all sectors, in addition to efforts to find political solutions to regional crises.
 
King Abdullah reaffirmed the centrality of the Palestinian cause, stressing the need to step up efforts to reach just and comprehensive peace, on the basis of the two-state solution, which is the only way to ensure security lasting stability in the region.
 
His Majesty underlined the need to fulfil the Palestinian people’s legitimate rights, and establish their independent Palestinian state on the 4 June 1967 lines, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
 
The King and Sultan Haitham agreed, during the call, to maintain coordination and consultation on issues of mutual concern.
