His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday received a call from King Philippe of Belgium, which covered the deep-rooted ties between the two countries and means to bolster them across various sectors.
 
The phone call also covered joint efforts to counter the COVID-19 pandemic and its humanitarian and economic ramifications, with King Abdullah expressing appreciation of King Philippe’s donation of medical equipment to Jordan, including power generators and oxygen delivery devices.
 
The medical equipment is set to arrive later this week.
 
His Majesty and King Philippe reaffirmed the importance of continued coordination and consultation on regional and international issues, in service of the two countries and with the goal of enhancing global peace and security.
