King, Philippine president attend military exercise at KASOTC

His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, and Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday attended tactical security exercise “Decisive Reaction”, conducted by Jordanian Special Forces at the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Centre (KASOTC).

The exercise, which simulated an operation in a border town controlled by a terrorist group, included reconnaissance operations, paramedics, and sniper fire and rappelling from attack helicopters.

Also during the visit to KASOTC, King Abdullah and President Duterte toured an exhibition of various defence industry products by the King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat and a number of senior Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army officers attended the exercise.
