His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday held separate meetings with US Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen and Under-Secretary General of the UN Counter-Terrorism Office Vladimir Voronkov.

The meetings were held on the sidelines of the Aqaba Meetings, hosted by the United States in partnership with Jordan, to coordinate and follow up on international efforts to counter terrorism.

Discussions at the two meetings covered bilateral cooperation, international efforts to counter terrorism within a holistic approach, and a number of regional issues.
