His Majesty King Abdullah on Saturday received Philippines’ National Security Adviser Hermogenes Esperon and discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Jordan and the Philippines, particularly in the military and security fields.

Discussions also covered regional developments and efforts to combat terrorism.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat and General Intelligence Department Director Maj. Gen. Adnan Jundi also attended the meeting.
