His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday met with Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen and discussed the current regional conditions.

Talks addressed the key issues on the agenda of the Arab Summit and the need to institutionalise and bolster joint Arab action in order to serve issues of the Arab and Muslim nation.

King Abdullah emphasised the importance of the OIC's role in promoting solidarity and cooperation among Muslim countries and defending their just causes.

The head of the pan-Islamic organisation praised His Majesty’s efforts at international forums to convey the true message of Islam, spread the values of tolerance and moderation, and build bridges and promote dialogue and understanding among the followers of different faiths.
