His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, on Monday inaugurated the second and third phases of the Princess Salma military housing project in Zarqa Governorate.

The project is in line with royal directives to ensure a decent living for army personnel.

King Abdullah visited a number of apartments that are part of the project, which includes 470 units and was designed and implemented by the Directorate of Housing Establishment and Military Works in cooperation with a specialised firm.

The project’s first phase, inaugurated a few years ago, included 170 housing units, while the second and third phases include 155 and 145 units respectively.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat, senior officers, and a number of project beneficiaries attended the inauguration ceremony.
