His Majesty King Abdullah has received cables of congratulations from senior officials and officers on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of the Arabisation of the leadership of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), which falls on 1 March.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II received similar cables on the occasion.

The officials recalled the bold, historic decision by His Majesty the late King Hussein as a turning point in Jordan’s history.

The cables’ senders said the army, under the leadership of King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the JAF, has become world-renowned for its discipline and professionalism, commending His Majesty’s efforts to support the JAF.
