His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday sent a cable to Chinese President Xi Jinping, congratulating him on his re-election.

In the cable, King Abdullah expressed pride in the ties of friendship between the two countries, affirming Jordan’s keenness on advancing its strategic partnership with China in the service of mutual interests, and with the aim of bolstering regional and global security and stability.

His Majesty also expressed his best wishes to the president, wishing the people of China continued prosperity and progress.
