King condoles Tunisian president over victims of attack on national guard unit

His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday sent a cable to Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi, expressing condolences over the victims of a terrorist attack that targeted a national guard patrol unit in Jendouba, in northwestern Tunisia, killing a number of its personnel and injuring others.

In the cable, King Abdullah expressed his utter condemnation of the cowardly terrorist act, stressing Jordan’s solidarity with and support for Tunisia in the fight against terrorism.

His Majesty also expressed his deepest sympathies and condolences to President Essebsi and the victims’ families, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
