King attends IEC members’ swearing-in

Amman -- His Majesty King Abdullah attended the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed members of the Independent Elections Commission (IEC) on Sunday.
Khaled Kalaldeh, former minister of political and parliamentary affairs, took the oath as chief of the board of commissioners, while Nazih Ammarin, Samar Haj Hassan, Zuheir Abu Fares and Nayef Al Ibrahim were sworn in as members of the board.
The ceremony took place at Al Husseiniya Palace, attended by Royal Hashemite Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh.
