King attends graduation of second class of Future Knights officers
His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), on Monday attended the graduation ceremony of the second batch of Future Knights (Forsan Al Mustaqbal) officers, held at the Royal Military College.
King Abdullah was received by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat and the commandant of the Royal Military College.
Following the national anthem, His Majesty inspected the ranks of graduates.
During the graduation ceremony, the King distributed awards to top achievers.
His Royal Highness Prince Rashid bin El Hassan, senior officials and JAF officers, heads of security agencies, a number of governors, military attachés in Jordan, and families of the graduates attended the ceremony.
Founded in 1950, the Royal Military College graduates officers who join the JAF and armed forces in other Arab countries.
The Future Knights (Forsan Al Mustaqbal) programme was launched in line with royal directives to review the process of officer qualification to ensure improved performance and professionalism
