His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), on Monday attended the graduation ceremony of the first batch of Future Knights (Forsan Al Mustaqbal) officers, held at the Royal Military College.

During the graduation ceremony, His Majesty distributed awards to top achievers.

His Royal Highness Prince Hashim bin Al Hussein, the Chief Chamberlain, as well as senior officials and JAF officers, heads of security agencies, ambassadors and military attachés in Jordan, and families of the graduates attended the ceremony.

Founded in 1950, the Royal Military College graduates officers who join the JAF and armed forces in other Arab countries. The graduates on Monday included an officer from Bahrain.

The Future Knights (Forsan Al Mustaqbal) programme was launched in line with royal directives to review the process of officer qualification to ensure improved performance and professionalism.
