His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), accompanied His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, attended an iftar banquet hosted on Monday by the General Command of the JAF.

Upon arrival at the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Centre, His Majesty was received by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat.

A number of royal family members, Adviser to His Majesty and Director of the Office of His Majesty Manar Dabbas, heads of security agencies, and JAF officers attended the iftar.

The King and the attendees also performed the maghreb (sunset) prayer.
