His Majesty King Abdullah, accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, is scheduled, on Wednesday and Thursday, to participate in the Sun Valley economic forum in Idaho, the US, attended by key US and international business leaders.

King Abdullah’s participation is in line with His Majesty’s keenness to highlight the advantages and investment opportunities offered by Jordan’s economy, with the aim of attracting investments and generating job opportunities for Jordanians.

The annual forum, attended by political, business, and media leaders from the United States and around the world, covers global political and economic challenges.

On the sidelines of the forum, the King is holding a number of meetings with the heads and representatives of a number of major US and international companies to discuss cooperation between Jordan and these global firms.

Their Majesties are also scheduled to participate in a speaking panel on conditions in the Middle East and their repercussions on Jordan, as well as efforts to reach political solutions to regional crises.
