King arrives in Cyprus

His Majesty King Abdullah arrived in Cyprus on Tuesday to participate in a trilateral summit in Nicosia with Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.

King Abdullah was received by President Anastasiades on arrival at the Presidential Palace in Nicosia.

His Majesty also laid a wreath at the Statue of Archbishop Makarios III, the first president of Cyprus.

The delegation accompanying the King includes Prime Minister Hani Mulki, Royal Hashemite Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh, Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Planning Minister Imad Fakhoury, and Energy Minister Saleh Kharabsheh.

In Amman, His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein was sworn in as Regent, in the presence of Cabinet members.
