Deputising for King, Crown Prince attends Royal Jordanian National Defence College graduation
Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II on Thursday attended the graduation of several programmes at the Royal Jordanian National Defence College.
Crown Prince Al Hussein, accompanied by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat, attended the graduation of the 15th National Defence Programme, the 24th War Programme, and the first Master’s Programme to Confront Extremism and Terrorism.
Graduates of the National Defence Programme receive a master’s in administration and strategic studies, while graduates of the War Programme receive a master’s degree in administrative and military science. The Master’s Programme to Confront Extremism and Terrorism provides a degree in strategies to counter extremism.
At the ceremony, attended by Their Royal Highnesses Prince Hashim bin Al Hussein and Prince Rashid bin El Hassan, Crown Prince Al Hussein distributed certificates to the graduates, who included officers from friendly states.
Heads of security agencies, diplomats, and a number of senior military officers and officials attended the graduation.
