Amman to host Trilateral Jordan-Cyprus-Greece Summit on Sunday

11 April 2019

Amman will host a Trilateral Jordan-Cyprus-Greece Summit between His Majesty King Abdullah, Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades, and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.

The second Trilateral Summit will cover means to expand cooperation between the three countries, especially in economy and investment, while building on the outcomes of the first Summit, hosted by Cyprus in January 2018.

The second Summit will also cover the latest regional developments and efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region.

Last year in Nicosia, Jordan, Cyprus, and Greece agreed to launch a trilateral partnership to advance cooperation in vital areas, and a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed in the fields of protection of antiquities, intellectual property, and renewable energy.
