King Hussein Business Park

Upon Royal directives, the site intended to be the new headquarters of the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces on Amman’s King Abdullah II Street was transformed into a modern business complex, then into a development area affiliated with the Development Zones Authority in 2010.

The first phase of establishing the King Hussein Business Park began in 2005 and ended in 2008. It included buildings with an area of 60,000 square metres, along with other service facilities, such as commercial services.

The complex offers an integrated business ecosystem home to many leading local and international companies, as well as a number of start-ups. It includes fully equipped office space and other supporting facilities, with state of the art technological systems. Companies in the complex stand to benefit from tax exemptions and investment incentives.

The complex includes 29 foreign companies, 54 local companies, 155 start-ups, and 9 business incubators. In 2019, a plan was launched to construct new buildings over an area of 40,000 square metres, and a comprehensive plan was drawn up to expand it to an area of 1.4 million square metres after the occupancy rate reached 100 per cent.

Today, the complex includes branches and regional centres of major information technology companies such as Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard (HP), and Rubicon LG.
