Combating extremism and terrorism
Jordan, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, is countering extremist terrorism and ideologies by working with regional and international efforts to combat terror acts that target the security and stability of the region and the world. Jordan has also adopted ideological efforts, and international dialogues and initiatives to highlight the true image of Islam as a religion that calls for tolerance, peace, accepting the other, and rejecting extremism and terrorism.
