King Abdullah II Design & Development Bureau (KADDB)

KADDB was established by a Royal Decree on 24 August 1999 to serve as an independent military/civilian institution functioning under the umbrella of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and concerned with research and development aimed at providing optimal solutions in the defense industry at the local, regional and international levels. The facility also provides products that supply the Jordan Armed Forces with military hi-tech, posing as an advanced platform of military industries in Jordan.

KADDB supplies the Jordan Armed Forces with advanced, high-quality scientific and technical services in several fields, including engineering and applied research. In addition, it attracts added-valued research projects and develops their concepts into designs, which are translated into testable prototypes before the transition into actual production that applies international specifications and standards, a matter which has rendered the bureau a center of innovation and creativity.
