Nadwa Palace

Nadwa Palace is located within the grounds of the RHC to the south of Basman Palace. Its name comes from Dar Al Nadwa, a forum established by the Hashemites’ ancestor, Qusai bin Kilab, in the early 7th century and before the birth of Prophet Mohammad, peace and blessing be upon him. It was a place where the leaders of Quraysh held meetings.
Nadwa is the fifth Royal palace after Raghadan, the Little Palace, Basman and Zahran. Its construction was completed in 1964.
