His Majesty King Abdullah, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, met on Saturday with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) President Sir Suma Chakrabarti, who is participating in the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa.

The meeting covered cooperation between Jordan and the EBRD, with King Abdullah highlighting the importance of the bank’s investment projects in the Kingdom in the fields of renewable energy, water, infrastructure, and pharmaceuticals.

Discussions also addressed the competitive advantages and incentives offered by Jordan’s economy to investors, in addition to Jordan’s strategic location as a gateway into international and regional markets.

Adviser to His Majesty and Director of the Office of His Majesty Manar Dabbas, Adviser to His Majesty for Economic Affairs Mohamad Ississ, and Planning Minister Mary Kawar attended the meeting.
