His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday sent a cable to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, congratulating him on winning the presidential election, and on his party’s win in the parliamentary polls.

King Abdullah highlighted Jordan’s keenness to strengthen cooperation with Turkey in all areas, and in the best interest of the two peoples.

In the cable, His Majesty also expressed his best wishes to President Erdoğan, wishing the people of Turkey further progress and prosperity.
