His Majesty King Abdullah II and United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during a phone call on Thursday, discussed ways to de-escalate tensions in the region.
His Majesty emphasised the need to mobilise Arab and international efforts to bring about an immediate halt to Iranian aggression against Jordan, the UAE, and Arab states, noting the importance of strengthening joint Arab action to address the economic consequences of the war.
The King also underscored the need to put an end to Israeli attacks on Lebanon, warning of the danger of exploiting the conflict to create new facts on the ground in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza.
