King receives letter from newly appointed chairman of joint chiefs of staff

His Majesty King Abdullah II on Thursday received a letter from newly appointed Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Majdi Al Harasis, in response to the letter sent to him yesterday from the King.
In the letter, Maj. Gen. Al Harasis expressed his pride and gratitude for being tasked with this responsibility, emphasising that the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army will remain steadfast in its commitment to safeguarding the Kingdom, under the leadership of the King.
Al Harasis added that His Majesty’s letter sets a clear path for the ongoing restructuring, strengthening, and modernisation of the armed forces.
The new army chief pledged to ensure that the armed forces maintain the highest levels of competence, readiness, and professionalism to keep pace with rapid changes and emerging challenges.
