Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Jordan next month for talks with His Majesty King Abdullah on Mideast issues and bilateral ties.

During Putin's February 12-13 visit, Jordan and Russia are expected to sign an agreement to encourage investment.

Earlier today, the Russian president telephoned the King and congratulated him on his birthday.
