King meets with leaders of national humanitarian initiatives

His Majesty King Abdullah II met with leaders of national humanitarian initiatives on Monday, at Al Husseiniya Palace.

His Majesty praised the initiative leaders for their efforts to serve their communities, noting that they embody the values of solidarity and social cohesion among Jordanians.

The King emphasised the importance of instilling in future generations the values of humanitarianism and volunteerism.  

His Majesty spoke with the attendees about their experiences and humanitarian efforts, and ways to develop their work in various sectors, particularly education, healthcare, social services, and income-generating projects.

The attendees briefed the King about their initiatives and their role in strengthening social cohesion, and affirmed their commitment to continuing to serve their communities.

Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi and Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh also attended the meeting.
