His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday sent a cable to President Maithripala Sirisena of Sri Lanka, on the occasion of his country’s independence day.

In the cable, King Abdullah expressed his best wishes to President Sirisena, wishing the people of Sri Lanka further progress and prosperity.
