His Majesty King Abdullah has sent a cable to United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, congratulating him on his re-election by the UAE's Supreme Council of the Union as its president.

In the cable, King Abdullah expressed congratulations on behalf of the people and government of Jordan, stressing keenness to continue to bolster cooperation between the Kingdom and the UAE in all areas, in line with their deep-rooted, brotherly ties.

His Majesty wished Sheikh Khalifa continued good health and well-being, and the people of the UAE further prosperity and progress.
