His Majesty King Abdullah has sent a cable to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, congratulating him on his party’s win in the Lok Sabha legislative elections.

In the cable, King Abdullah reaffirmed the deep-rooted ties of friendship between Jordan and India, as well as keenness to develop cooperation in various fields.

His Majesty also wished Prime Minister Modi success, and the people of India further prosperity and progress.
