His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday sent a cable to President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, congratulating him on his re-election.

In the cable, King Abdullah affirmed his keenness to build on the ties of friendship between Jordan and Azerbaijan, which marked 25 years of diplomatic ties earlier this year.

His Majesty expressed his best wishes to President Aliyev, wishing the people of Azerbaijan further prosperity and progress.
