His Majesty King Abdullah has sent a cable to Burkina Faso President Roch Marc Christian Kaboré, expressing condolences over the victims of the terrorist attack against worshippers at a mosque in Salmossi, which killed many and injured others.

In the cable, King Abdullah condemned the attack as a cowardly act of terrorism, underscoring Jordan's firm stance in fighting extremism and terrorism.

His Majesty expressed sympathies to the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
