His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II on Tuesday met with leading figures and representatives of various sectors in Irbid.

The meeting addressed issues of concern to the local community in Irbid, particularly in the fields of investment, tourism, agriculture, technology, and sport.

The Crown Prince emphasised that, given the situation in the region, the focus must be on Jordan’s stability and economy, and on promoting investment opportunities in the country across various sectors, particularly in the field of technology.

His Royal Highness affirmed that Jordan always emerges stronger from adversity, thanks to the collective awareness and resolve of its people and institutions.

The Crown Prince highlighted the importance of efforts to support and empower young people in various fields.

Speaking about His Majesty’s recent visit to China, His Royal Highness highlighted the significance of the agreements signed during the visit, noting the need to build on them in a way that has a positive impact on the national economy.

For their part, the attendees praised His Majesty’s international efforts to elevate Jordan’s global standing across various fields, and commended the Crown Prince’s active engagement with local communities and his dedication to empowering young people.

Director of the Office of the Crown Prince Zaid Baqain attended the meeting.
